1.  Affiliate Portal Introduction:

Referral Link: When the affiliate logs in to the affiliate portal, a Referral Link will be provided in the Home tab, this is the link that the affiliate will be sharing with their followers on social media platforms, etc, any purchase made on the website using the referral link will earn the affiliate a commission.

Network Link:  It is just a specialized link for your sub-affiliate to create an account. You get commission from their referral. Parent affiliates will get commission on 3 levels of sub-affiliates.

Home Link:  It is the affiliate home page at ACOPOWER website.

The Home tab will also have a Coupon Code that has been assigned to an affiliate that they can share with their followers. Any purchase made using the coupon code will earn the affiliate a commission.

Commission structure This shows the commission rate that the affiliate will be earning in the program.

In the Summary section in the Home tab, there is a table that shows information such as the number of referrals, orders, conversions, sales, and earnings.

Pages

In the Pages tab, the affiliate can build their own landing pages, which will be hosted on the merchant's store. Affiliates can use these special landing pages in their promotions and even share the page link with others.

Marketing Tools

In the Marketing Tools tab, the affiliate can generate affiliate links for qualifying products on the store website, this link can be shared by the affiliates to promote more specific products. The affiliates will earn a commission on any purchase made using these product referral links.

Analytics

In the Analytics tab, the affiliate can view advanced analytic data such as Browser, OS or devices used by customers who have visited the store using the affiliate's referral. The affiliate can also view a detailed traffic analysis.

Payments

In the Payments tab, the summary table shows information such as the amount paid, amount pending and last payment. Below in the detail section there is more information on payments. 

Settings

In the Settings tab, the affiliate can provide information such as name, website, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook accounts. There is also an option to customize the URL referral code. Below it there is the payment setting option where the affiliate has to set up the payment mode, with which he/she would like to get paid. There is also an option to change the affiliate account password.

Keep your affiliate account password strong and do not share your password or payment details with anyone.

2.  Get Started as an Affiliate

Create an affiliate account

‌After you create your affiliate account, you will have to check your email inbox for the account verification email.

After you signup for the affiliate program, your account will undergo verification. It can take up to 24-48 for the account to get verified. You should update your profile in the meantime.

‌Log into your affiliate account‌

The window that opens up when you log into your affiliate account is called the affiliate dashboard. The dashboard acts as a control panel for your account.

Update your profile

• To update your profile go to the Settings Here in the Profile section, you can fill in your details such as your website, Facebook account, Instagram account, Twitter handle or YouTube channel.

• Also, set up your payment mode in the Payment Settings

‌After filling in the necessary details. You can get started with promotions.

Checkout your referral details

Here in the Home tab,

• You can view your referral URL, that you will be sharing in your promotions. You will also see the coupon code if it has been assigned to you by the merchant.

• The commission structure will provide you with the details about the commissions that the merchant has set up for referrals.

• In summary, you can view the number of referrals, orders, the conversion percentage, sales value and your earnings for referrals.

• The details table displays information such as the date of the order (placed using your referral), order, order amount and the commission earned on the order.

Generate affiliate links for products & use media assets‌

• In the marketing tools section, you can generate affiliate links for the products you want to promote, you can do this by pasting the product URL link from the store in the given field. A link will be generated next to it that you can then use in your promotions.

• Here you can also check out the media assets that have been provided by the merchants and use them accordingly in your promotions.

Payment summary‌

In the payments section, you can view your payment summary, which will show the amount paid to you for your referrals, the pending amount that has to be paid and the last payment that was done.

‌There is also a details section which will show other payment information.

Start Promotions‌

Finally, after setting up and getting familiar with your affiliate account, you can start promotions by using the referral link or the coupon code assigned to you.

3.  Quick Guide

Here we take a look at some steps that an affiliate can take to get started:‌

• Choosing a product

‌It is important for affiliates to carefully choose the products they want to promote. Try to go for products or the category of products that you are passionate about. This makes the job of promoting them much easier.

• Sign-up for an affiliate program‌

After you have chosen the products you want to promote, you will need to sign up for the affiliate program of the store that is selling it. Here, you will need to look out for things such as commission rate, payment terms, and modes of payment that an affiliate program offers.

• Choose your platform‌

To promote products, you will need to choose a social media platform. This will depend upon the content you want to create, if you like making videos then you can use YouTube, if you like taking pictures, you can use Instagram or Facebook. You can also create your own website/blog or use email marketing for promoting products.‌

• Create content for promotions‌

This can include product reviews, tutorials or blog posts for the products that you want to promote. Your affiliate performance will heavily depend upon the content you create.

In the content you create, you will also be providing your affiliate referral link, when a customer purchases on the store using your link, you will earn a commission on it.

• Start Promoting‌

Promotions and creating content is something that you will mostly learn when you do it yourself. It will depend on what product you are promoting and what platform or content you are using for promotions.
